TriMas Opens New Lamons Sales and Service Center in Rotterdam, The Netherlands
BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., June 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TriMas Corporation (NYSE: TRS) - a diversified manufacturer of engineered and applied products - today announced that its Lamons® business unit has opened a new sales and service center facility in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, to even better serve its global customers.
Lamons Nederland B.V. recently began operations in Rotterdam with a 20,000 sq. ft. facility with plans to move into a larger building in September of this year. The facility has the ability to produce and/or stock industrial gaskets and complementary fasteners for petroleum refining, petrochemical and other industrial uses throughout Europe.

Mr. Allen added that Rotterdam was chosen as a hub because of the amount of refining and petrochemical activity within a 75-kilometer radius and its close proximity to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, one of Europe's largest airports.
This new service center maintains an inventory of standard gaskets and stud bolts and boasts state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilities to fabricate special spiral wound, jacketed, Lamons Kammpro™, corrugated and cut gaskets, as well as stud bolts cut to special lengths, ensuring quick service. Laser technology, as well as CNC plasma-cutting capability, allows the production of intricate heat exchanger gaskets from a single piece construction, including accurately cut cores for Kammpro-type exchanger gaskets.
